WHY CHOOSE CLAY SPACE
Master the Craft in York's Dedicated Studio
Our courses teach you the complete process of making functional pottery—from centering clay on the wheel to creating finished, glazed pieces you'll be proud to use and gift. We keep classes small (maximum 10 students) so you receive personal attention throughout your learning journey.
Whether you're testing the waters with our 3 Week Wheel Course or diving deep with our comprehensive 9 Week Wheel Course, you'll work with professional equipment in our light-filled foundry studio, guided by experienced ceramicists who are passionate about teaching.
All materials, tools, firing, and glazing are included in your course fee. Just bring yourself and comfortable clothing—we'll provide everything else, from clay and wheels to expert instruction and finished pieces ready to take home.
